The Great Green WALL FRONTLINE is an African-led movement that aims to grow an 8,000km ‘new world wonder’ across the entire width of Africa, transforming the lives of millions on the frontline of climate change. Best visualised as a ‘wall of trees’ spanning from Senegal to Djibouti, the Great Green Wall is in fact much more than that: a burgeoning green corridor bringing life back to degraded landscapes, growing climate resilience, food security and jobs for the millions who live along its path.

CIVIC is growing a movement OF CITIZEN ASSEMBLIES AND LAND RESTORATION ENTERPRISES TO HELP BUILD THIS NEW WORLD WONDER, ONE COMMUNITY AT A TIME.
